Our Bikefest concept seams to be loved by more and more people so the general format is staying the same but that doesn’t mean we are getting complacent and are not moving forward.

Showers and more space for camping
After years of trying to find a workable solution to the lack of showers, bike washing facilities and running water we have finally found out and a happy to announce that the 2009 event will feature all of the above. There is also more camping space available. However camping space is still limited so we can only suggest entering early.

‘Old Gits’ category
Due to popular demand we have introduced the ‘old gits’ category in which the riders must have an average age of 40+ years. So if you are tired of racing the young guns around our fantastic courses then this will be your year.

3 hour novice race also at Bristol
After the successful introduction of the 3 hour novice race at last years Kona Cheddar Bikefest we have added the 3 hour event also to the Kona Bristol Bikefest. So if you want to get involved in the relaxed atmosphere of our Bikefests but are not yet ready to enter the 12/10 or 6/5 hour events then this is your chance to progress into it. Come along and join the fun.

Online Entry
After years of being a little bit behind when is comes to entering facilities we have now entered the 21st century and have added online entry to our website. You can enter as solo riders, pairs or teams – all through the site. You can pay with debit and credit cards. There will be a processing charge added at the end. If you rather go the good old entry form way – don’t worry you can still download an entry form and send that together with your cheque through the post.
