Not long now before race action will start at the 2010 Kona Bristol Bikefest powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport. The weekend’s Saturday (5th June) will see the popular 12 hour team and solo race followed by the 6/3 hour race on Sunday (6th June). If you haven’t entered yet better be quick as categories are starting to close...more below.
Entries – Saturday 12 hour SOLO now closed – still TEAM and PAIRS entries available
Following the trend of the last few years the SOLO category has once again been extremely popular - to the level that we have now closed the SOLO category for the 12 hour event on Saturday. But don’t worry if you keen to ride SOLO than you can still enter the races on Sunday or if SOLO is not that important why not get a few friends together and enter one of the team categories. There are still places for those available on Saturday and Sunday.
If you are new to endurance racing and 12 or 6 hours are simply too much or you can only spend a little time over the weekend why not get involved in the 3 hour event which will take place on Sunday.
To enter any of the races simply go to the entry page and either download your entry form and send it through to us or click through to our new online entry. Providing there are still places left (please keep your eye on the website) there we will be day entries available for the Sunday event.
Bath Ale at BBF & Entertainment
We recently got together with Bath Ale and are happy to announce that our bar will be nicely stocked with the lovely beers from Bath Ale on Friday and Saturday night. Plus we will also have a few ciders in the cooler. Besides that we will have a new DJ playing some tunes on Friday night creating the perfect background for some pre-race carbo-loading that is essential for the Bristol Bikefest. We will have various food stands open for business from Friday evening onwards. On Saturday we will have the party with some more DJing as well the main music act ‘The Mudheads’.
