Directions to the 2009 KONA Bristol Bikefest (Ashton Court, Bristol) hosting the Kona 12 Hour team & solo endurance event on the 6th June ’09 and the Kona 6 / 3 Hour team & solo endurance event on the 7th June ‘09

Directions to event village and to campground no. 1

From the North
Come down the M5, past the interchange with the M4, until junction 19, Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services, take the A369 towards Bristol, after around 3.5 miles turn right at traffic lights (B3129 - follow sign posts for country club), then take your first left after a mile or so, just past Redwood Lodge (hotel/gym/spa), then left again, at the sign post, into the event, parking will be sign posted.
NOTE: You will come past the signs for campground no. 2 as that is off the B3129 just before you turn left – please ignore those things.

From the West
Come along the M4 towards Bristol at the interchange head down the M5 until junction 19, Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services, take the A369 towards Bristol, after around 3.5 miles turn right at traffic lights (B3129 - follow sign posts for country club), then take your first left after a mile or so, just past Redwood Lodge (hotel/gym/spa), then left again, at the sign post, into the event, parking will be sign posted.

From the East
Come along the M4 towards Bristol past the M32 turning for Bristol and on to the interchange, then head down the M5 until junction 19, Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services, take the A369 towards Bristol, after around 3.5 miles turn right at traffic lights (B3129 - follow sign posts for country club), then take your first left after a mile or so, just past Redwood Lodge (hotel/gym/spa), then left again, at the sign post, into the event, parking will be sign posted.

From the South

When you arrive the main gate may be locked, if it is the key can be found under the road cone on the right hand side of the track in front of you, please open the gate and lock it behind you.

Camping

Directions to campground no. 2

From the M5:
Leave at Junction 19 follow signs for Bristol A 369 for approx 3.5 miles at 2nd set of traffic lights turn right on to the B3129 (follow sign posts for country club) for approx 3/4 mile turning for club sign posted turn right and follow lane to club house.

From Bristol:
Cross the Clifton suspension bridge and turn right onto the A369 at first set of traffic lights turn left on to the B3129 (follow sign posts for country club) for approx 3/4 mile turning for club sign posted turn right and follow lane to club house.

We will mark the walking/cycling link from the camp-ground to the event village. Please be aware that you have to cross the B3129 which can be very busy at times and that you have to cross the race course – so please pay extra attention!!
