Welcome to the entry page of the 2013 Ritchey Bristol Bikefest Powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport.  Entry fee and confirmation: The entry fee is £35 for each team member and solo riders entering the 12hr or 6hr event and £29 for each team member and solo riders entering the 3hr event. We will only require one entry form per team. Whether you are a team of 3 / 4 riders, a pair or a solo team, please make sure that you complete just one entry form. Once we have received both the entry form and full amount of money we will confirm your entry by email or by post. Please note teams will only be entered once all monies are received. It is best to gather all cheques together and then send them off to us to be processed or if using the online facility, enter and pay for everyone at the same time. Please make sure that you add an email address of every rider on the entry form - please make sure we can read it as it makes our job so much more straightforward. If you are entering from abroad please let us know once you have transferred the money so that we can check from this end. Once we have received both entry form and fee we will confirm your entry by email. The entry fee includes: Ride entry, free usage of all facilities, finishing present, DJ / band and free parking. Camping (if required) will get charged extra. THE FEE IS INCLUSIVE OF VAT. All categories are available for male, female and mixed teams: Team - Open Team - ‘Old Gits’ (average age of riders needs to be 40+ years) Team - Single-Speed NB. There is no Single-Speed category on Sunday for the 6hr event and the 3hr novice event will only have one category – Team Novice. All categories can be entered as solo riders, pairs or teams of 3 - 4 riders. Exception to the rule is the 3hr event. It can be only ridden as a team of 2 - 4 riders or as a solo rider. Teams can be up to a maximum of four riders. Mixed teams must have at least one female rider. If you struggle to make up the numbers in your team the number of riders will be rounded up and you will be placed into the appropriate category. If a category gets less than 5 entries it will be integrated into another category. Prize money and other prizes will be split across the top riders in the competitive and single-speed category. Cancellation policy: You can cancel up to and including a week before the event. Your entry fee minus £5 (handling fee) will be returned. Alternatively you can transfer your entry to another Bikefest event in 2013. If you have to cancel in the week leading up to the event then we will not be able to pay your entry fee back or transfer your entry to another event. However, entries can be transferred to a different person. Entries are limited – if any spaces are still available, entry at the event is possible but will be subject to a £5 surcharge (per rider, per team). Make sure you enter now to save yourself some money and keep the hassle on the day and queuing time at registration to a minimum. I will wear a helmet at all times when on the course, will ride on the left and observe signage & direction given to me by official event stewards. I will not cross any red / white course boundary tape. I understand that this event involves a high level of exertion and that it is a strenuous endurance event. I am of sound body and mind and able to ride in such an event and under such conditions. I will not hold Bristol Bikefest or Bristol City Council or anyone involved in the organisation, or the land-owners, responsible for any material or personal damage, howsoever caused, before, during or after the event. If you are under 18 an adult must sign on your behalf and write their full name and address on the reverse of the entry form, and the capacity in which they are signing. |
