Facilities and camping Facilities: As in 2011 the event will be divided into two main parts. Once again we are expecting a fair amount of riders and support crews to camp over the whole or some parts of the weekend. Apart from the event village we will again have two separate campgrounds in order to offer riders better facilities and to accommodate the rising number of campers. There will be plenty of showers (situated at the Rugby Club) and toilets with washing facilities. The start / finish as well as the showers, etc. are no more than a couple hundred yards away – no matter which campground you are staying in. Drinking water will be available but supplies are limited. We recommend that riders bring enough drinking water for the duration of the event. Caterers, a bar and tea / coffee retailers will be on site throughout the weekend. Camping: The cost per pitch (5m x 5m) is £4.00 per night per pitch. The pitches should be big enough for a car and a 2 - 3 person tent. Please note - spaces at both sites are limited and we have access restrictions, so make sure you enter early and reserve your pitch ASAP to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee that you can camp if you haven’t pre-booked. To book please tick the correct boxes on the entry form and (depending on the day you enter) add the correct amount to your entry fee. We will send you your camping ticket in the post, which will give you access to one of the two campgrounds. ACTION: If you are intending to camp with another team, please let us know by cover note or email well in advance of the event so that we can try and allocate you a pitch next to each other.
