Facilities and camping
Facilities
Unfortunately there are no showers in place at the event but we are working hard – with the help of Kona – to get something sorted in time for the event. We will keep you posted via the newsletter and the website. If it doesn’t happen please don’t hold it against us – we are doing our very best. We will in any case have lots of nice toilets with washing facilities. We do recommend riders to bring enough drinking water for the duration of the event. We will have supplies on site but they are limited. There are caterers, a bar and tea and coffee retailers on site.
Camping
With the event being divided into two main parts we are expecting a fair amount of riders and their support crew to camp over the whole or some parts of the weekend.
We will have camping available from Friday night to Sunday night inclusive. Riders can get a pitch that is 5m x 5m big. This should be big enough for a car and a 2-3 person tent. If you are quick enough and enter the event before the 1st May 2008 you will get camping for free. Otherwise it will be £ 4.00 per night per pitch. If you want to camp please tick the correct boxes on the entry form and (depending on the day you enter) add the correct amount to your entry fee.
If you should have an oversize vehicle you want to bring please get in touch with us on 0117 9532698/ 07834 005835 or paul.bikefest@virgin.net. Teams of four riders will be expected to share a maximum of two pitches, unless special arrangements are agreed with us in advance.
Thank you for your co-operation!
