Bikefest 13th June

Welcome to the 14th Ritchey Bristol Bikefest - one of the UKs longest standing mountain bike endurance races. Once again held at the famous all weather fast flowing singletrack course in Ashton Court.

Event Details

Now an ‘all focus’ Saturday event. We are going to descend onto the single track of Ashton Court on the 13th June 2015. Expect some close racing, lots of activity in and around the event village, a well stocked event bar and track side camping and parking.

New for 2015

The Bikefest follows in the footsteps of its Bavarian brother the Oktoberfest and brings all events into one day. So come and join the 12h, 6h or 3h event all on Saturday the 13th June…and make sure you get your entry in quickly as entry numbers will be restricted.

Latest update from our entry desk – entries have been flying in and at this point we have less than 10 solo and 20 pairs places left for the 2015 Bristol Bikefest (across all lengths/distances).

We will keep the entry open for these two categories till Friday the 20th February (lunch time) – however if the places go before then, we will have to close it sooner. (more…)

Ritchey Bristol Bikefest entry opens on 1st February

On the 13th June the Ritchey Bristol Bikefest powered by Heritage Volkswagen will return to the trails of Ashton Court, Bristol for the 14th issue of the Fest. What started as a ‘Sunday addition’ to the Southern XC series more than a decade ago has turned into one of the major mountain bike events in the country.

What’s new in 2015?
Bristol BikeFest_bigThe Bikefest ( will return with the proven and much loved concept of 12 hour of solo, pairs or teams relay racing but for 2015 we are bringing the 6 hour and 3 hour novice event (who used to run on the Sunday) into the Saturday schedule.

The 12 hour event will as usual be started at 9am and run all the way to 9pm while the 6hour event will start at 3pm and the 3hour event will get going at 6pm – all to minimise start loop clog ups and to make those last few laps more exciting for everyone.

Entry to the Ritchey Bristol Bikefest powered by Heritage Volkswagen will open on the 1st February with the over all numbers being limited (to accommodate the 6 and 3hour event) and only 150 solo sports being available across the three distances. With the solo and 12 hour places in particular selling out quickly better mark the day and get your entry in early. (more…)
