Autumn 2013 - Ashton Court is once again host to the third and newly titled Stans NoTubes Oktoberfest Powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport. The date for this one day spectacle is the 13th October 2013.
The last few years witnessed possibly the best course in the UK relay race scene and the playing field for the Bristol Bikefest so we decided to return here again for the Oktoberfest.
For 2013 the all weather course in Ashton Court will be once more the battle ground of the Oktoberfest. Properly tested during the rather unforgiving summer of 2012 the course managed to hold up perfectly and has put lots of smiles on riders when coming over the finish line since its full launch at the end of 2011.
We will also have a great musical line-up, with live DJs running from early evening until late into the night on Friday and Saturday. On top of that we will also have a broad selection of the latest bikes and kit, which will be available for testing on the day.
The concept of the event is similar to the Ritchey Bristol Bikefest but reduced in hours due to the shorter daylight hours. So we will be running an 8hr event and mixed in with that we will have two 4hr events. This should give everybody lots of options to bring the season to a well-deserved yet fun packed end. It is also just a one-day event so that we can all concentrate on the riding followed by a well-deserved finishing party.
All events can be ridden as solo entries, pairs or teams of 3 - 4 riders.
